Sia Abai DDS MMedSc is a graduate of Harvard University's Advanced Graduate Prosthodontics program with a Master's degree in Oral Biology and Prosthodontics.  He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, followed by two years of Advanced Education in General Dentistry training at the Columbia University Medical Center.  Dr. Abai is in full time clinical practice at the Abai Center for Advanced Dentistry in Orange County, CA.  He is the past Director of Clinical Research and Development at the Glidewell International Technology Center, involved in clinical research, product development, and the advancement of guided implant surgery with a focus on an all-digital workflow from digital treatment planning to final prosthetic design.  His clinical research led to the launch and validation of two implant systems along with advances in biomaterials used by thousands of dentists in private practice.  He serves as a Lecturer at the UCLA School of Dentistry’s Advanced Graduate Prosthodontics program.  Dr. Abai’s research and case reports have been published in the Journal of the American Dental Association, The American Association of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, and The New York State Dental Journal.
